Currently my passion for providing alternatives as an adjunct therapy for Senior dogs and working dogs has become my mission. I own Three Border Collies, Jake & Ben & Sam and participate in sheep herding on my spare time.
My passion for animals has driven me to continuously learn new techniques that can be used for my patients thus providing a higher level of care.
Over the years I have also provided seminars to various dog sport groups on a regular basis. These seminars include core conditioning, dealing with the senior dog, understanding pain in senior dogs and keeping your pet dog free of injury. Further teaching seminars include the STAAR conference in the USA to teach veterinarians, Veterinary Technician’s and physical therapists in the area of hydrotherapy, Senior dogs, and Therapeutic exercise protocols.
I was also the past marketing chair office for the National Board Certification of Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM). As well as maintaining a charity, Rehab for Rescues, to ensure proper rehabilitation is given to dogs in foster care so that they can find a forever home.
