Veterinary Cannabis Certification
Veterinary Cannabis Counselors (VCCs)
Veterinary Cannabis Guides (VCGs)
The topic of veterinary cannabis is new and evolving. Both the veterinary and cannabis industries have questions about how to safely implement this plant medicine in veterinary species and the importance of harm reduction education continues to grow.
The Veterinary Cannabis Certification course provides participants with medically-based information about the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in mammals, the safe and scientific use of cannabis in veterinary patients, and guidance on interacting with other veterinary care team members and cannabis manufacturers and industry leaders.
Founder and Director, Dr. Casara Andre discusses the certification curriculum and utilizing a functional, flipped classroom model to serve students from around the globe.
