Disaster Preparedness & Community Resiliency Series
Business risk assessment, continuity planning, disaster response planning, and community preparedness.
Cultivate Wellbeing, participates as an active member of Colorado’s (as well as national and global) emergency planning and disaster preparedness community.
With a focus on OneHealth solutions and a dedication to leveraging animal wellbeing across all conversation, the CultivateWellbeing ecosystem contributes to solutions for planetary health. Twice yearly, our ecosystem hosts the Congress on Planetary Health alongside a multi-national, multi-tier disaster exercise, allowing diverse skill sets and all levels of preparedness to participate in the race toward resilience.
We want to continue to serve before, throughout, and after a disaster.
As a business entity and community, CultivateWellbeing believes that by investing in preparation and planning, we can remain resilient - able to continue to serve when our communities are affected by disaster and large-scale disruptions. We are dedicated to the development of business continuity planning for our ecosystem and the practice of remaining functional in the face of a disaster.
Our virtual and physical Waypoints serve as Rally Points for the Front Range Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps response teams.
We believe that our community of Healers deserves resilient support from the ecosystem they inhabit - and we are working to build that resiliency within the CultivateWellbeing ecosystem.
Topic Brainstorming
This discussion series is designed to allow veterinary professionals to discuss and brainstorm on disaster preparedness topics and explore topic specific questions and solutions.
The facilitated topic discussion hopes to engage community members from a wide range of backgrounds in dynamic discussion on how to prepare for and respond to disaster scenarios - taking the fruit of the discussion to implement immediately in disaster response teams throughout Colorado and California.
As a community, we are looking for OneHealth-focused solutions, and so, discussions will emphasize environmental sustainability, animal welfare, and human well-being.
